The Plan for Breaking Grimm

What I have in mind for the release and how you can get involved.

So, things are very much still in the planning stage. (I should probably be more on top of things, but when life is life, well, I'm doing the best I can, lol.)

But, despite the existence of the planning stage, I still have some pretty cool ideas for how I might do things. :)

My ideas (very liable to change)

So, much like the release of Kidnapping Grimm, I am planning on doing a multi-platform hybrid publishing. It will be available on the usual publishing platforms, Amazon, Barnes and Noble for print, and for the ebook version it'll be available on Kindle, Nook, GooglePlay, and Draft2Digital who in turn distributes to quite a few ebook platforms.

I will also be selling signed copies, and as much as I can I'd like to sell them out directly. I say this because on Amazon and Barnes and noble I make under a dollar for every copy sold. Right now I make about 29 cents for every ebook, and 38 cents for every print copy. But, when I sell them directly, I can make a couple of dollars. :)

To try and entice people to order directly from me, I am trying to come up with a plan. What I might do, is I might release in stages. The signed print copies publish a week earlier than when I release to the commercial platforms. I'm also trying to come up with some sort of pre-order goodies, stickers or a bookmark, or a print. Something that comes with the book that will make the pre-ordering fun and worth it. I haven't decided on a definite plan yet, and I haven't made a good enough print that would be pre-order worthy, but I am working on it. :)

I haven't been able to set up pre-ordering yet, because I don't know how much it will cost to print book two. It'll be more than book one, because it's a bigger book. As soon as I know, I'll put a link in on my store so people can pre-order and send out an email so people know that it's up.

Want to be emailed when the link goes live?

Email me at erbrookes@gmail.com to get signed up for the pre-order notification. I will also post on here about the drop, so subscribing will also make sure you're in the loop!

I wish I had more things put together and figured out. But I am trying. :) It's a learning curve, and I think I'm picking up more with each publication.
